Use Everything but the Squeal

Use Everything but the Squeal

This phrase has been used at pork processing plants to indicate that none of the animal is wasted.

It’s believed the saying started in the 1860s. Since then, it has been used in different ways, including as the title of John Barlow’s 2008 book, Everything but the Squeal: Eating the Whole Hog in Northern Spain.
