Bob Brcka appointed General Manager of PigCHAMP

(Ames, Iowa) - Farms.com is pleased to announce that Bob Brcka has been promoted to General Manager PigCHAMP, a Farms.com business unit. Bob joined PigCHAMP in 2005 as Marketing Manager. Under Bob’s leadership, PigCHAMP has recently launched PigCHAMP CARE 3000 – a Windows-based software program that is setting new standards for pork production record keeping and data analysis.

Bob Brcka has more than 25 years of agricultural management experience. Prior to joining PigCHAMP, he was a Business Process Manager with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Before that, he was a Business Process Consultant within Principal Financial Group. Bob also worked for Pioneer Hi-Bred International for close to 15 years in a variety of progressively senior positions, his last two being Director, Information Management – Europe, and Director Special Projects, Pioneer Quality Crop Systems. He began his career with an advertising agency and then subsequently joined Land O’Lakes Ag Services Division. Bob earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Iowa, and his Bachelor of Science Agricultural Journalism from Iowa State University. He has also had advanced training in Process Design and Implementation from Hammer and Company, Agribusiness Senior Management from Harvard Business School, and Industrial Marketing Strategy from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
