London, ON – 11/09/06 ~ The 2006 Best of CAMA Awards named Farms.com’s AgPromote.com website the Best Web Design of 2006 in the Web Design, Outbound Electronic and Interactive Multi-Media category. The development of AgPromote.com was a joint effort of the Farms.com Media team and our Farms.com Professional Service Design and programming team. Andrew Bawden, Farms.com Media Advertising Manager, accepted the award on behalf of Farms.com at the 23rd Annual Awards Ceremony in Winnipeg Manitoba on November 2. “We are very pleased to accept this award,” says Bawden. “Farms.com has secured a strong presence on the Web, and development of the AgPromote.com website is a natural extension of this tremendous growth.

This year’s panel of judges consisted of both marketing professionals within and outside the agricultural industry. There were a number of entries from across Canada and the awards competition featured categories in public relations, web design, advertising and promotion. CAMA is an association for people involved in marketing communications, public relations, product management, or sales in the agribusiness industry.
