Orange Production Down 1 Percent from January Forecast
 
The United States all orange forecast for the 2017-2018 season is  3.94 million tons, down 1 percent from last month and down 24 percent from the 2016-2017 final utilization.
 
The Florida all orange forecast, at  45.0 million boxes (2.03 million tons), is down 2 percent from last month and  down 35 percent from last season's final utilization. Early, midseason, and  Navel varieties in Florida are forecast at 19.0 million boxes (855,000 tons), unchanged from last month but down 42 percent from last season's final  utilization.
 
The Florida Valencia orange forecast, at 26.0 million boxes 
(1.17 million tons), is down 4 percent from last month and down 27 percent  from last season's final utilization. California and Texas orange production  forecasts were carried forward from the previous month.
